The first international conference on cleanroom technology in Slovenia, organized by the Slovenian Cleanroom Society (SCS), successfully brought together key stakeholders and marked an important milestone for the development of the field in the region.

The conference welcomed more than 150 participants from Slovenia and abroad, including experts from industry, research institutions, and academia. For the first time in Slovenia, the event provided a comprehensive overview of the latest trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements in the field of cleanroom technology.

Over the course of two days, participants attended a series of expert presentations addressing key challenges and opportunities in the sector – from innovative technological solutions and process optimization to sustainability and compliance with increasingly demanding regulations.

Special emphasis was placed on practical case studies and best practices, demonstrating how to improve system efficiency and enhance quality and safety across various industries, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, electronics, and healthcare.

The conference also served as a valuable platform for knowledge exchange, professional networking, and the establishment of new collaborations, laying a strong foundation for the continued advancement of cleanroom technology in Slovenia and beyond.

For licensed and supervising engineers registered with the Slovenian Chamber of Engineers, participation in the two-day conference contributed to their professional development, awarding five (5) CPD credit points.

The event clearly demonstrated that the cleanroom technology sector in Slovenia is evolving rapidly and keeping pace with global trends, with innovation, sustainability, and regulatory compliance emerging as the key pillars of its future development.
